Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Security Officer to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. Schedule:

Full‑Time, 8‑hour shifts

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 5:15 pm-1:15 am

Saturdays and Sundays: 3:00 pm-11:00 pm

Days Off:
Wednesdays and Fridays.

$20.00 – $24.00 / hour

• Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor
• Conduct cash escorts as required
• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity
• Maintain crowd control as required
• Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally
• Administer medical assistance to guests and employees once certified in CPR/First‑Aid/AED/BBP by the employer

• Minimum 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Must be able to be licensed by the State Gaming Commission
• Ability to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations when handling guest issues or complaints
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
• Prior law enforcement, security, or military experience preferred; hospitality/customer service experience a plus
• Clear a criminal background check
• Strong verbal communication, observation, and report‑writing skills (must be able to document incidents via the use of a computer)

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate through two‑way radio
• Bending, stooping, lifting and carrying occasionally
• Vision sufficient to perform duties day or night
• Exposure to an occasionally smoky and loud environment
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies
• Exposure to large groups and bright/flashing lights
