Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Security Officer to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. Schedule:
Full‑Time, 8‑hour shifts
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 5:15 pm-1:15 am
Saturdays and Sundays: 3:00 pm-11:00 pm
Days Off:
Wednesdays and Fridays.
$20.00 – $24.00 / hour

What will you do?- Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor
- Conduct cash escorts as required
- Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity
- Maintain crowd control as required
- Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally
- Administer medical assistance to guests and employees once certified in CPR/First‑Aid/AED/BBP by the employer
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Must be able to be licensed by the State Gaming Commission
- Ability to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations when handling guest issues or complaints
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Prior law enforcement, security, or military experience preferred; hospitality/customer service experience a plus
- Clear a criminal background check
- Strong verbal communication, observation, and report‑writing skills (must be able to document incidents via the use of a computer)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate through two‑way radio
- Bending, stooping, lifting and carrying occasionally
- Vision sufficient to perform duties day or night
- Exposure to an occasionally smoky and loud environment
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies
- Exposure to large groups and bright/flashing lights
