As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Nashville, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. You will monitor and patrol designated government locations, deter security-related incidents, and provide a visible presence. This armed and driving position requires routine patrols and professional interaction with the public, delivering outstanding customer service. • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the premises.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Document and communicate any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel.
• Follow all protocols related to the handling and carrying of firearms as required for the post.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
