From Public Accounting to Power Networking | Director of Recruitment | Synergy Search | Nashville | | GraI am looking for a Staff Accountant to join a fast-growing entertainment organization to support high-volume transactional accounting and assist with month-end close. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career accountant who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow under close mentorship from experienced finance leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Handle high-volume accounts payable and receivable
, including invoice coding and vendor payments - Maintain accurate transaction entry and support general ledger upkeep
- Assist with month-end close
, including journal entries and reconciliations - Support project-level settlements and post-event financial tracking
- Maintain expense and payment systems and ensure data accuracy
- Partner with the Controller and finance team on day-to-day accounting needs
- 0–2 years of accounting experience or recent graduate
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong attention to detail and comfort in fast-paced, transactional environments
- Familiarity with accounting systems or expense tools (ERP experience a plus)
- Energetic, collaborative, and eager to grow professionally
