Accounts Payable Clerk

John W. McDougall Co., Inc., an industry‑leading architectural façade and specialty manufacturing contractor, is seeking a full‑time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team.

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented professional with strong financial, organizational, and time‑management skills. The ideal candidate meets deadlines, takes pride in accuracy, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

• Set up new vendors in Spectrum and Epicor (ERP system)
• Process invoices and subcontractor pay applications in Spectrum and Epicor
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and credit card transactions
• Obtain and track lien waivers and W-9s
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month‑end close
• Generate weekly/monthly AP reports and annual 1099s
• Maintain accurate, organized records and support cross‑functional accounting needs
• Provide administrative support to HR

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred (construction or manufacturing industry experience a plus)
• High school diploma required;
  Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in computer systems and accounting software (Spectrum and Epicor experience are a plus)
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Proven ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion and integrity
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude with flexibility to assist across accounting functions
