Senior Tax Associate | Seasonal​/Part Time

Dimeta Smith, CPA is an accounting and consulting firm specializing in business development, growth, and expansion. The Sr. Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing corporate, individual, nonprofit, and estate tax returns in a timely and compliant manner.

• Apply the knowledge obtained through previous work experience as a Sr. Tax Accountant
• Prepare and review corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns
• Professionally manage client relationships
• Assist in training and supervising junior staff
• Assist with tax planning for high-net-worth clients

• Proficient knowledge of federal tax rules and regulations, required
• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience, a plus
• A CPA license is preferred
• Strong understanding of Accounting and Tax Terminology
• Exceptional telephone and virtual meeting protocol
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be flexible with job duties as required
• Ability to meet deadlines

Bachelor's degree (Required)

Tax experience:
Minimum of 5 years (Required)

CPA license (Preferred)
