Assistant Controller

Our client, a growing, well-established organization, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to oversee core accounting functions and lead a small accounting team. The salary is up to $90,000, and the role is onsite in Nashville. Permanent direct hire.

• Supervise, coach, and support accounting staff to ensure high-quality performance.
• Manage daily accounting activities, month-end close processes, and financial reporting functions.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and support schedules.
• Oversee accounts payable activities and vendor relationship management.
• Support compliance efforts, internal controls, and financial governance initiatives.
• Provide analysis and reporting to support business decisions and operational objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Supervision or mentorship experience.
