Accounts Receivable Representative

IDR is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to join one of our top clients for Nashville or Phoenix locations. This role involves supporting healthcare payment posting processes within a dynamic revenue cycle environment, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of patient accounts and payer transactions. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dedicated healthcare team committed to delivering high-quality financial services.

• Summarized position focused on healthcare payment posting, reconciliation, and denial resolution.
• Supporting billing and accounting functions within a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate posting of payments.
• Use of EMRs and payment systems to interpret remittances and resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain data integrity in all postings.

• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare payment posting (manual and electronic).
• Strong knowledge of EOBs, EFTs, ERAs, COB, and 835 file interpretation.
• Deep understanding of payer rules (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Workers' Comp).
• Familiarity with contractual adjustments, proration logic, and secondary/tertiary payment rules.
• Prior experience with complex denial resolutions and reconciliation of unapplied payments.
