SESAC Is Looking For An Administrator, Distributions To Join Our Team In Nashville That Enjoys Working With Numbers, Is An Analytical Thinker And Is Comfortable Navigating Excel. The Ideal Candidate Will Have a Passion For Ensuring Songwriters Are Properly Compensated For Their Work And Be Capable Of
- Building spreadsheets and managing large amounts of data.
- Prioritizing tasks effectively to meet competing deadlines.
- Communicating and building relationships both internally and externally.
The Administrator, Distributions will provide administrative support to the Distributions Team and help ensure accurate distribution of royalties to SESAC affiliate partners by supporting performance tracking, data analysis, and other distribution related functions.
What You Will Be Doing- Performing data entry and assisting with performance tracking across multiple media types.
- Analyzing numbers and building and organizing data in spreadsheets/databases.
- Building complex formulas in Excel and learning new systems.
- Confidently and appropriately providing customer service support to SESAC affiliates concerning distribution related questions.
- Thoroughness in completing job tasks and flexibility in shifting priorities.
- Highly organized, analytical thinker with an ability to multi-task while simultaneously maintaining attention to details and ensuring accuracy of work.
- Independent judgment and an ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Expert user of Excel. Experience working with database operations/SQL is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, related field or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years’ experience working in data and providing analytical support preferred.
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in and help on special projects as needed.
- Passion for music and learning about the music rights industry.
This is a hybrid role that will require you to commute to our Nashville office a minimum of three days a week.
