Express Automotive Service Technician - Lexus of Nashville

Lexus of Nashville has the exciting opportunity to expand its team with the addition of a Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates actively with team servicing of every customer vehicle to ensure fast, expert service
• Perform minor services which include, but are not limited to, checking and changing the lube, oil and filter of each assigned vehicle following dealership and manufacturer procedures.
• Report any problems to the Service Advisor, or Service Director/Manager.
• Perform multi-point inspection on every vehicle (Customer Pay/Warranty/Extended Warranty).
• Find all legitimately needed services / repairs on the vehicle and record appropriate recommendations in MPI.
• Prepare an accurate estimate for all Additional Sales Requests and report findings to Service Advisor to be presented to the Guest.
• Assist other technicians with light duty mechanical work as needed.
• Dedicates work time to providing excellent customer service
• Communicates with Service Manager, Service Consultants and other Technicians to meet Lexus time standards and to exceed customer requirements.
• Maintains back shop cleanliness and equipment calibration to Lexus standards
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Commitment to safety:
  Use of appropriate personal protective equipment, back belt, safety glasses and safety shoes at all times
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

All applicants must be at least 19 years old, and able to pass pre-employment testing which includes background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
