Position Details

Operations Manager (morning shift) at The Renaissance Nashville
, Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Hotel Technicians are positively interacting with Hotel Staff to maximize the effectiveness of sales and service.
  • Monitor training of all Hotel Technicians, including appearance, technical skills, sales, customer service, equipment maintenance, safety, relationship building, and customer complaints.
  • Work directly with clients to provide walk-throughs.
  • Answer client questions that arise during the event planning process and event execution.
  • Schedule staff weekly.
  • Inventory control.
  • Interface with operational departments.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and coaching Hotel Technicians as required.
  • Provide directorial training for each staff technician.
  • Maintain high visibility within the assigned location.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Flexible with work schedule.
Requirements
  • Complete knowledge of hotel operations.
  • 4 years or more experience as an Audio Visual Technician.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and motivational skills.
  • Service-oriented with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Possess the ability to manage and work with many different types of people and personalities on many different levels.
