This role provides analytical support to the Commercial Products Department, collaborating with leadership and sourcing teams. Responsibilities include conducting integrated assessments of financial and contractual terms, researching various categories and delivering insights that inform strategic sourcing decisions.
Major Responsibilities- Collaborate with Contract Director and Contract Managers to deliver tailored financial and contractual analyses based on project specific needs.
- Prepare RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) documents.
- Provide accurate and timely financial analysis of vendor pricing proposals.
- Prepare, review, and audit baseline reports and savings analyses; identify and mitigate discrepancies before submission to members or leadership.
- Manage external member collaboration platforms, ensuring accurate and timely input in coordination with the project lead.
- Analyze member contracts, spend, and volume data to develop and maintain comprehensive project workbooks and financial impact analyses.
- Develop and maintain sourcing project trackers to monitor implementation timelines, utilization rates, and pricing compliance throughout the contract life cycle.
- Draft contract amendments, extensions, and member‑specific agreements under the guidance of the project lead.
- Mentor junior analysts and build team capability.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.
- Maintain Member Teamroom – Purchased Services page, update documents.
- Maintain database of vendor service categorization ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare and lead member monthly project dashboard calls, coordinate updates with project leads, and follow up for completion.
- Manage Analyst project tracker and assign analytics to team, ensuring quality and formatting requirements before submission.
- Support Directors and Managers with customer service follow‑up and resolution.
- Plan, lead, assist and manage training for all new analysts.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- 5+ years of Healthcare Contracting experience (required).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization tools (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills (required).
- Excellent presentation skills (required).
