Role Overview

The Director of Commercialization will lead go‑to‑market strategy and execution for new studio ventures, taking products from zero to one by driving commercialization activities including market positioning, customer development, launch planning, and early revenue traction. The scope of the position is focused on everything from zero to product‑market fit. This person will partner closely with founders, Hashed services teams, and design partners / early customers / co‑build partners to translate venture concepts into scalable, market‑validated businesses.

This is not a traditional sales or business development role. It combines strategic storytelling, rapid experimentation, and deep customer engagement to build market traction from day one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute go‑to‑market strategies that drive adoption, growth, and early revenue across new ventures.
  • Lead customer development and pilot programs, managing early relationships with health systems, payers, and partners.
  • Develop value propositions, pricing models, and sales enablement materials aligned with market needs.
  • Lead willingness to pay discovery, design partnerships, and pricing programs.
  • Partner with product, design, and venture teams to ensure customer feedback informs iteration and roadmap decisions.
  • Analyze pilot performance, develop repeatable commercialization playbooks, and refine scaling pathways.
  • Build trusted relationships with healthcare stakeholders, investors, and strategic collaborators.
  • Lead the company/network in the use of AI for commercialization and GTM efforts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 2–6 years of experience in go‑to‑market commercialization, go‑to‑market business development, or early strategies related to developing product‑market fit for startups.
  • Demonstrated success leading early‑stage GTM execution, startup pricing programs, and driving revenue traction in healthcare or startup environments.
  • Expertise in enterprise tech and tech‑enabled services.
  • Entrepreneurial and hands‑on, with comfort operating in ambiguity and testing new markets.
  • Excited to operate across multiple ventures simultaneously.
  • MBA preferred but not required.
  • US based.
