Overview
ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent with 5-15+ years of experience leading ground up light- and mid-industrial construction projects. As an ARCO/Murray Superintendent, you will manage all administrative tasks associated with construction and field operations for your project from day one, empowering you and your project team to bring the project to completion on schedule, within budget, and per project specifications.

ADay in the Life
- Attend the post-award review meeting to receive project information and details for preplanning before construction
- Work with the project manager to prepare a schedule of construction activities, organization structure, staffing, and manpower/equipment requirements
- Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and schedule while ensuring profitability
- Assist in material shipments, approvals of shop drawings and material samples
- Coordinate subcontractor activities to integrate with project schedules and progress
- Inform supervisors and subcontractors promptly of schedule changes
- Assist in preparation of job progress and cost reports
- Review and approve requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and significant reports
- Cooperate with the owner and representatives, keeping them informed of progress
- Cooperate with architects/owner representatives in the best long-term interest of the company
- Hold job site meetings and report regularly on progress, plans, and issues affecting costs or schedules
- Maintain a daily diary of significant project events and contacts
- Direct adherence to the company safety program
- Make decisions under tight deadlines
- Organize people, tools, and equipment to manage multiple activities
- Demonstrate leadership, address conflicts, and meet customer expectations
- Commit to quality by evaluating processes and using customer input for improvements
- Act with integrity and align with company values and customer requirements
- 5-25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on data center or mission-critical projects
- Willing to travel when needed
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs
- Current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence
- Ability to meet physical demands, including standing/walking long periods, uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds
