Construction Manager/ Foreman, Heavy Equipment Operator
DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for an experienced Traffic Control Foreman to join a dynamic team in the Greater Nashville, TN area.
Salary Range: $70K - $85K
Base
Schedule:
M - F, 7am - 4pm (40-50 hours, also Saturdays during busy season)

Role & ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise traffic control crews on active construction sites to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow
Plan, set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices, including cones, barrels, signage, barricades, and temporary traffic signals, in accordance with MUTCD standards and project requirements
Read and interpret traffic control plans (TCPs) and ensure proper implementation in the field
Coordinate daily activities with project managers, site supervisors, law enforcement, and utility or construction crews
Monitor work zones continuously to identify hazards, adjust traffic control as conditions change, and maintain public and worker safety
Train and mentor traffic control personnel on proper procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols
Conduct job briefings and safety meetings to reinforce compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations
Inspect equipment and materials to ensure readiness, proper placement, and compliance with standards
Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, crew attendance, and incident or near-miss reports
Communicate effectively with the public, motorists, and crew members to minimize disruptions and resolve issues professionally
Enforce company policies and safety standards while promoting a safety-first work culture
- 3-5 years' flagger experience
- Valid flagger certification
- ATSSA traffic control technician card
