AboutThe Role
As part of the Quality Control team, the QC Supervisor will supervise quality control repairs to meet the timelines of the finishing schedule. The ideal candidate must understand and be trained on the finishing schedule and sequence for a high‑rise construction project.
Key Responsibilities- Manage subcontractors and Axiom Builder's QC team to deliver interior suites and common areas finished with minimal to no deficiencies.
- Coordinate and communicate deficiencies with subcontractors and ensure timely completion of defective work.
- Identify, document, and close out defective work items to meet the project completion schedule.
- Supervise and coordinate QC team members to perform caulking, silicone, drywall repairs, and removal of finish protection, cleaning, and other interior finish construction work as required.
- Manage the schedule of Owner/Client deficiency inspections and subsequent repairs with the construction team to meet quality standards.
- Assist with general labor duties such as cleaning and organizing materials.

Skills and Requirements- Previous experience and general knowledge of high‑rise construction process, finishing quality, and sequence.
- Proven ability to lead a site‑based construction team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to direct technicians and trade partners.
- Experienced with reading and comprehending construction drawings and understanding finishing practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Procore is an asset.
- Ability to work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment.
- Strong communication skills; ability to communicate with supervisors and trade partners fluently.
