The RoleTechnical Writer Co‑Op Student – 6‑month hybrid (Tue/Thu onsite, MWF remote). You will create clear, high‑quality documentation that translates complex information for diverse audiences, supporting onboarding, training, and business continuity.
Essential Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Flow Charts, and User Reference Guides.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to gather information and understand processes.
- Translate complex concepts into clear, concise content.
- Edit and proofread for grammar, clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Organize and structure content for optimal readability and accessibility.
- Maintain version control and update documentation continuously.
- Create visuals such as screenshots or diagrams to enhance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with MLC branding and style guidelines.
- Support the maintenance and accuracy of the internal document library.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, or Technical Writing.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Comfortable interviewing subject‑matter experts and asking clarifying questions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Interest in learning about the music industry and operational systems is a plus.
