Associate Producer

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists Producers with daily tasks such as show prep, segment prep, filming, and delivery of video and audio content, including material for radio, podcasts, marketing, and social media.
• Arranges notes for the crew daily.
• Researches and prepares material for productions.
• Facilitates the arrivals of in‑studio guests for productions.
• Assists Producers with development, pre‑production, production, and post‑production for long‑form and short‑form videos, including documentary, interview, and commentary formats.
• Assists with booking crew, show hosts, talent, and guests.
• Works with the Production team to ensure quality and timely work.
• Travels as needed with members of the Production team for remote shows and segments.

• 2+ years of similar work experience in a professional production environment preferred.
• Previous experience and proven track record in video and podcast production.
• Self‑motivated with a demonstrated ability to appropriately take initiative.
• Working knowledge of the current political landscape.
• Avid follower of news, politics, and cultural commentary across all media platforms.
• Resourceful with a high sense of urgency.
• Familiar with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Familiar with all aspects of post‑production for video and film.
