The Division of Hematology and Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking board-certified/board-eligible hematologist-oncologists to work in the Nashville area. The selected individuals will be academically oriented and appointed to the full-time faculty as either Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the School of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. Faculty members with a sole focus on patient care would be a good fit for our satellite clinics, located in surrounding counties.

Seeking Melanoma, Breast, Genitourinary,
and General Hematology/Oncology Faculty

The successful specialty candidate(s) will have experience in caring for patients or expertise in conducting clinical trials in these diseases.

Our Division has a long track record of dedication to career growth and mentorship. Junior faculty and new fellowship graduates will join the faculty and receive dedicated mentoring in clinical research from international leaders in the field. Experienced clinical researchers, at the Associate or Full Professor level, will have opportunities to mentor junior faculty and fellows in these areas and may also have additional leadership opportunities.

The selected individual(s) will work closely with the Director of the Division of Hematology/Oncology and the disease group section leader to develop a clinical trial portfolio further and conduct clinical and translational research. For candidates with melanoma, there is potential to advance to the group section leader.

The ideal candidate(s) will be a dedicated clinician and clinical researcher who would enjoy participating in a robust training program of residents and fellows and growing into a top-notch research program in melanoma, breast, organitourinary cancer.
