Overview

Join two other board-certified Vascular Surgeons at Nashville Vascular and Vein Institute (NVAVI). NVAVI is a long-established practice and we perform 100% Vascular Surgery. We have a busy OBL, our own Ultrasound Center with 4 sonographers, two high-volume hospitals for all open (we still perform complex open surgery) and complex endovascular cases and an active vein and GAE practice. We take no unassigned or ER call anywhere;

we are only on call for our own patients. This means we sleep at night and have enjoyable weekends, even when we are on for the practice. Our OBL efficiency allows us to perform multiple arterial endovascular cases weekly with sub-15-minute turnover times and consistent staff. We have excellent employees who understand our mission of excellent patient care, no unnecessary procedures and doing no harm.

We do one outlying clinic day a week, otherwise all work is in Nashville. We participate in the OEIS registry and remain active in the SVS. If you are feeling burned out by call or the politics of Academia, if you want to love your job every day, if you want to spend time with your family, if you want to be paid well, then this is the practice for you.

Nashville is a cosmopolitan metropolitan area with world class restaurants and entertainment venues with nature and outdoor activities (hiking, biking, boating) immediately available. The Nashville area has a broad array of neighborhoods to live in, from urban, to subdivisions, to rural. Numerous excellent public school districts are available in addition to many private schools.
