Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Newport, TN . This position offers short-term coverage, a flexible schedule, and competitive compensation in a Level 3 Trauma Center with a manageable patient flow .

Opportunity Details:

• Location: Newport, TN
• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: September 1, 2023
• Shift Schedule:
  • Day Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM
  • Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• APC Coverage:
  • Sunday – Tuesday: 10 AM – 6 PM & 3 PM – 11 PM
  • Wednesday – Saturday: 11 AM – 11 PM
• Minimum Commitment: 18 shifts per month
• Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume: 23,000 – 24,000 patient visits
  • 16 ED Beds + Hall Beds as Needed
  • Level 3 Trauma Center
  • No Admitting Orders Required (Handled by hospitalists)
• EMR System: Cerner
• Temp Privileges: Available for clean files

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: Board Certification Not Required
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted TN State License & DEA
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS
