Position: Adjunct Instructor – Healthcare Management, Medical Management Concentration (Pool)

Title:

Adjunct Instructor – Healthcare Management, Medical Management Concentration (Pool) POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in Healthcare Management, Medical Management Concentration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends.

Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and T  policies and guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
  • Current industry certification
  • Three years of related industry experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration
  • ICD and CPT coding experience
  • Two years’ college level teaching experience
KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with a variety of instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Rate of Pay:

$650.00 - $740.00 per credit hour

AVAILABILITY/CLOSING DATE
