Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide direct front desk assistance and refer students to appropriate resources and professional staff members when needed
• Become familiar with student organization processes, policies, and procedures to provide information to students
• Assist with management of equipment rentals for Student Organizations
• Become familiar with student organizations on campus to provide recommendations to students looking to become more involved
• Re-set and tidy Student Engagement office space at the end of each shift
• Assist with Student Engagement event preparation when needed

Required Qualifications

• Applicant must have Federal Work Study to be considered.
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours (late afternoons and evenings needed)
• Ability to work in a cooperative team spirit
• Ability to perform multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of opportunities for student engagement (student organizations, student leadership, etc.) at Belmont
• Knowledge of campus offices and services
• Knowledge of event planning and logistics
• Student Organization leadership experience a plus

Required Education Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University.
