Academy - Academic Support Tutor

Description

Lipscomb Academy's Academic Support Program is looking for qualified and experienced tutors to provide in-person tutoring to students. Opportunities are available for all subjects and grade levels.

• Provide one-to-one and/or small group instruction
• Contribute to student learning, growth, and advancement
• Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s) and knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques
• Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice
• Facilitate problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Collaborate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff to increase student performance
• Ability to interact positively and professionally with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner
• Manage student records electronically
• Maintain confidentiality of student records

Education:

Bachelors (preferred)
