Director of Learning & Development, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
This role is located on‑site at Alpha campuses in Bethesda, MD;
Boston, MA;
Chicago, IL;
Fort Lauderdale, FL;
Seattle, WA; or the CA East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles. Base pay is $100.00/hr, equating to $200,000/year with weekly payment. Health benefits start day one, plus HSA/FSA and 401(k) Roth options. Relocation assistance is provided.

- Coaching and developing Guides to deliver Alpha’s workshops with exceptional quality
- Building Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, design engaging learning experiences, and address obstacles
- Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that drives student participation and success
- Personally coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating esasz mastery and motivation techniques
- Creating lesson plans – Guides support learning through adaptive applications; you train them to be outstanding motivators
- Compromising on standards – the passing threshold is 100%; you uphold that benchmark
- Running dull training sessions – you develop Guides through dynamic, energizing, experiential learning
Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort enjoys school, progresses at 2× speed, and achieves mastery in life skills. Zero compromises.
Basic Requirements- Currently located in or prepared to relocate for on‑site work at an Alpha Campus (specific locations listed above)
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 Conc professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or comparable areas
- Proven track record developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions
- Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities with experience building, directing, and energizing high‑performing teams slide
- Experience working with youth populations (ages 5‑18) in educational or developmental settings
- Skilled in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement
- Authorized to work legally in the United States

Working with UsThis is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment period is weekly.
