CocuSocial Cooking Class Instructor​/Chef Instructor Part-Time

Cocu Social, one of North America's largest culinary experience providers, is seeking experienced Chef Instructors to lead fun, hands-on cooking classes in Nashville.

Our classes are hosted at unique partner venues including hotels, breweries, cafés, and event spaces. We create memorable culinary experiences for guests of all skill levels, and we're looking for talented chefs who are passionate about sharing their knowledge in an engaging, interactive environment.

What you'll do:

• Run the full class experience: ingredient purchasing, setup, instruction, and cleanup
• Create a fun, beginner-friendly, interactive learning environment
• Keep high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and organization
• Represent Cocu Social professionally and deliver great guest experiences

Class concepts we're seeking:
Handmade pasta, sushi, Neapolitan or artisan pizza, dumplings, Pad Thai, paella, street tacos, empanadas, French pastry and choux, cheese making, mixology, and wine tasting. Other cuisines and specialties are welcome.

Details:
Part-time contract, in person.

Required / Ideal:

• Professional culinary background
• Passion for food and for sharing culinary skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable engaging groups of up to 26 guests
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred:

• Prior experience teaching cooking classes, culinary education, demonstrations, team training, or similar instructional settings
