Roadway EIT

As a top 14 transportation firm, HMB has some of the largest infrastructure projects in the country. We’re looking for a Roadway EIT in Nashville to work on capstone-type projects and be client‑facing from day one.

• Work under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer as part of a team in the design and preparation of technical reports, analysis/calculations, and construction documents.
• Prepare accurate presentation, design, detail, and construction documents.
• Prepare permit applications and submittal packages to agencies having jurisdiction.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors, and other parties associated with the project.
• Develop and adhere to project scope, schedules, and budgets.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in all technical aspects of roadway design.
• Experience with Open Roads Designer preferred.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• Detail‑oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and standard industry software.
• Ability to work well in multidisciplinary team environments and meet deadlines.
• Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.
