Overview

The Senior Automation Project Manager will work with the Global Manufacturing Engineering team and Digital Operations to provide process automation expertise and project management for strategic improvement initiatives. Focus areas include EH&S, manufacturing and assembly processes, cost and labor productivity, and 4M process standardization.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across multiple sites to assess manufacturing processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Lead solution development ensuring compliance with automation standards, digital operations strategy and alignment of technology and application.
  • Develop project charters and plans detailing scope, cost estimates, resources, milestones and support activities.
  • Coordinate project activities, conduct daily huddles, manage risk, ensure timely status updates and delivery of high‑quality outcomes.
  • Provide automation subject‑matter expertise, develop and maintain standards, and support process improvement initiatives, monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (manufacturing, mechanical, process automation preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with strong process automation project management skills and proven influence without authority.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies (e.g., RPA tools, industrial PLC/SCADA, robotics, machine learning, AI).
  • Strong leadership, coaching and strategic planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Travel up to 50% as business needs require.
