Instrumentation and Controls Engineer – Intermediate (Data Centers)

Base Salary: $69,500 – $95,500 per year

• Design and optimize control systems for processes, develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and model design data.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Coordinate work activities with other staff and the discipline lead, and provide on‑site assistance during startup.
• Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, familiarizing yourself with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver world‑class solutions for new facilities.
• Produce options and optimizations for instrumentation, automation, and process control.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience with instrumentation and controls.
• Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications preferred.
• Experience with data centers.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) designation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
• Ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base.
• Collaborative, able to work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Passion for buildings and construction.
