This is a position for a traffic engineer with 2 or more years of relevant experience to work on public and private sector traffic engineering projects. Typical assignments will include traffic modeling, traffic impact analysis reports, traffic signal design, signal timing plans, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) design, signing and striping plans, and corridor studies. Duties would include the following:

• Prepare traffic signal, pavement marking, signing, lighting, and maintenance of traffic plans
• Prepare Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) design
• Perform data collection
• Perform traffic impact analyses
• Prepare traffic and safety studies
• Perform traffic analyses
• Perform transportation planning studies
• Prepare quantity and cost estimates
• Prepare written reports

• 0-2 Years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program
• General knowledge of required design software (Micro Station, AutoCAD, Revit)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good communication and technical writing skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Previous internships or work experience in the Engineering field.

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to maintain required certifications

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
