Registered Land Surveyor

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is hiring a Registered Land Surveyor in Atlanta, GA.

Pay Range
  • Base pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
  • Salary will be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview
  • Relocation assistance and sign‑on bonus are available
Responsibilities
  • Perform land and construction surveying using conventional methods and GPS.
  • Manage survey projects and lead field survey crews as Party Chief when required.
  • Attend pre‑survey planning meetings with project managers.
  • Assist client project managers throughout all phases of facilities design, construction, repair, and modification projects.
  • Research existing records (maps and plans) and maintain field data records, survey project files, and indexing systems.
  • Interact with government clients to define and implement requirements for surveying, construction, and facilities design.
  • Support the design of civil site plans for government buildings, test stands, and laboratory facilities, including drawing production in Micro Station CAD.
Qualifications
  • Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Georgia.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in land surveying.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Micro Station, Terramodel, survey software, and CADD tools.
  • Strong knowledge of the standards and practices of land surveying in Georgia.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and work with instruments weighing up to 40 pounds over rough terrain.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience performing construction, topographic, and control surveys.
  • Comfortable working outdoors on construction sites and adjacent to vehicular traffic.
  • Physical ability to clear vegetation, dig holes, and use hand tools.
