Structural Engineer (On-Site)
Nashville, TN

A leading engineering services provider is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join its growing team. This role will focus on designing and analyzing structural components across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, creative problem‑solving abilities, and a passion for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable structural solutions.

This is a full‑time on‑site position based in Nashville, TN.

• Perform structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Conduct on‑site inspections to assess structural integrity and ensure compliance with design and safety standards
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineering teams to support project delivery
• Review drawings and documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality engineering work within established project schedules

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 6+ years of full‑time experience in structural engineering
• Strong understanding of structural mechanics, materials, and system behavior
• Proficiency with engineering and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil/Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis
• Experience supporting commercial, mixed‑use, industrial, or similar project types
• Project management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities
