About the RoleWe are hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC system design and develop a growing mechanical design team. This position requires both technical excellence and leadership ability, as well as experience designing systems for institutional, healthcare, and federal projects.
Responsibilities- Design HVAC systems and perform energy/load calculations
- Conduct system surveys and write technical specifications
- Oversee QA/QC and ensure code compliance
- Manage and mentor junior engineers
- Lead client meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- PE license (preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of HVAC design experience
- Revit, AutoCAD, and Trace 700/IES proficiency
- 2+ years of project management experience (preferred)
- Technical excellence in HVAC design
- Leadership ability
- Experience with institutional, healthcare, and federal projects
