Who You’ll Work With

The Project Manager – Prefabrication is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of prefabrication projects from inception to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with design teams, production staff, and field operations to optimize prefabrication processes and drive efficiency.

  • Project Planning & Coordination
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for prefabrication projects.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Execution & Oversight
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline prefabrication workflows and reduce costs.
  • Implement best practices for quality control and efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Support training and development initiatives for prefabrication staff.
Smarts, Skills. And

Physical Requirements
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of project management experience in construction or prefabrication.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of prefabrication processes and materials.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with Lean Construction or modular building techniques.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to visit job sites and prefabrication facilities as needed.
  • Occasional lifting and standing during site inspections.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
