A DAY IN THE LIFEAs the successful candidate, you will work with a diverse team of design professionals on permitting, construction, surveys, mapping, and related projects, providing design and drafting support for project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Producing plan, profile, cross-section, and detailed drawings for projects related to remediation, environmental construction, and civil infrastructure.
- Preparing and editing drawing/map products including contouring, digitizing, editing, and data management.
- Merging data sets (including surfaces and surveys) in AutoCAD from multiple sources.
- Working with topographic surveys in support of projects.
- Other duties as required.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Design, Drafting Technology, or equivalent.
- 1+ years of relevant experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to complete design drafting work with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with civil infrastructure, landfill or environmental projects.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, regulations, drawings, and job specifications.
- Superior technical and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Self‑motivated, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional, collaborative approach, able to work within a multidisciplinary team providing outstanding client-focused service.
