Geotechnical Engineer
My client is a top engineering consulting firm and they're seeking an experienced and driven Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to transformative projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct field investigations to evaluate subsurface soil and rock conditions.
Perform detailed geotechnical analyses and calculations.
Design foundations, retaining walls, and slope stabilization solutions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical insights.
Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical standards.
Produce concise and well-documented technical reports and recommendations.
Manage budgets and maintain financial accuracy on projects, including client invoicing.
Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Represent the organization at professional meetings and business development events as required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Expertise in geotechnical investigations, reporting, and testing protocols.
Proficiency in interpreting subsurface data and conducting foundation design.
Experience in creating and implementing drilling and boring plans, slope stability assessments, and seismic hazard evaluations.
