Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a Project Manager Water Wastewater Engineer in Nashville, TN
. The position requires a strong understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure and process design, preferably with municipal systems. The role requires experience managing both public and private projects, with a focus on local municipal and quasi‑governmental clients (e.g. water/sewer authorities). Candidates must have strong knowledge of Civil 3D, Water

CAD, Sewer

CAD and Microsoft Office software. Experience with Info Works WS and/or Info Water modeling software by Innovyze is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a Professional Engineer license are required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, or a Master’s in either field. Registered Professional Engineer required.

Experience: 2–3 years experience working with the design of municipal water/wastewater projects.

• Ability to analyze, coordinate and manage several large or complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to manage and develop project staff, supporting and evaluating each individual towards achieving their maximum potential.
• Ability to complete projects successfully, on time and on budget, given high‑level administrative supervision in terms of broad objectives and limits.
• Advanced knowledge of project tracking software (Vision or Microsoft Project).
• Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Project experience in the southeastern United States, preferably Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
