Job Description

As an Associate Product Manager for Sports Line and CBS Sports Betting Services, you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our product offerings in the sports betting space. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, engineers, and marketers, to drive the development and enhancement of our sports betting products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of sports, technology, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers to define and prioritize product features and improvements.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the sports betting industry.
  • Analyze user behavior, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform product decisions.
  • Assist in crafting product roadmaps and development plans.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of product features.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, user stories, and requirements.
  • Assist in testing and quality assurance of product releases.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of key product indicators.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to sports betting.
  • Provide support to marketing and sales teams in promoting and explaining product features to customers.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product analysis, or similar role, preferably in the sports betting or sports analytics industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive product decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with sports betting platforms and a strong knowledge of sports betting regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in using analytical tools and software, such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • A passion for sports and an understanding of sports analytics and betting trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving priorities and market dynamics.

Salary

Hiring Salary Range: $70,000.00 – $84,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
