Position: CAR WASH ATTENDANT / VALET LEXUS OF NASHVILLE

CAR WASH ATTENDANT/VALET

Lexus of Nashville has the exciting opportunity to expand its team with the addition of a full-time Car Wash Attendant/Valet associate. Looking for a fast-paced, hard-working candidate interested in a long-term career.

PAY RATE $15/HR, $16 AFTER 90 DAYS

REQUIREMENTS:

Greets and welcomes clients in a friendly and courteous manner, and guides them to the appropriate advisor or location.

Transports customers to and from their destination when needed and requested.

Installs disposable seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers, and in all vehicles brought in for service.

Inspects each vehicle for damage prior to parking for service and when retrieving after service for lot damage.

Vacuums interior of vehicle to remove loose dirt and debris. Drives vehicle through automatic car wash. Occasionally performs upgrades including applying tire dressing or cleaning windows.

Keeps work area and dealership neat and clean and organize supplies and equipment.

Helps maintain lot appearance by cleaning driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.

Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner; uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.

Helps complete daily laundry.

Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and service advisors on the status of vehicles or any issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have dependable transportation.

Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.

Follows all safety and security procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, reach with hands & arms, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; & frequently required to stoop, kneel, and crouch.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The noise level in this work environment can be loud.

Regularly exposed to (outside) wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, & fumes or airborne particles; frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.

Must work a predictable and consistent work schedule, which includes Saturdays and may include holidays, anytime from 7 a.m.

-7 p.m., as determined by management and business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.

Highly professional and dependable.

Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.

Must be customer service oriented.

Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.

Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
