Tax Manager

Overview

SHR Talent is partnering with a growing wealth management and family office platform in its search for a Tax Manager. The Tax Manager opportunity is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys working with high-net-worth individuals and families, values collaboration, and wants exposure to both tax compliance and proactive planning within a modern, institutional-quality environment.

• Prepare and review individual, trust, and entity tax returns for high-net-worth clients
• Assist with proactive tax planning strategies, projections, and estimated payments
• Support year-end tax planning initiatives and multi-entity structures
• Research federal and state tax issues and communicate findings clearly
• Collaborate with internal advisors and cross-functional teams
• Maintain compliance with tax regulations and filing deadlines
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tax processes and workflows

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, preferred, or CPA-eligible
• 5+ years of relevant tax experience
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and closely held entities
• Background in public accounting, family office, or wealth management, preferred
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly and professionally
• Team-oriented mindset with long-term career interest
