Overview

A growing organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with operational leadership to drive profitability, improve staffing efficiency, and identify cost-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, with healthcare experience considered a plus.

Salary Range: $75,000–$95,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze monthly performance against budget and prior year benchmarks.
  • Support contract renegotiations and pricing strategies with financial histories, staffing estimates, and projections.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts based on historical data and pricing assumptions.
  • Collaborate with contract administrators to ensure alignment with pricing strategies.
  • Conduct monthly operational reviews and recommend improvements in pricing, staffing, and resource use.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting for senior leadership and operational teams.
  • Prepare business reviews for presentation to external stakeholders.
  • Perform ad hoc statistical and financial analysis as needed.
  • Analyze financial implications of new business opportunities.
  • Track trends in cash collections and procedure volumes from third-party billing sources.
  • Support contract-related financial analysis and accruals.
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or related field.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in healthcare finance is a plus.
