Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst’s responsibilities include analyzing financial data, forecasting future trends, preparing budgets, and generating financial reports. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment. Our ideal candidate possesses exceptional analytical skills, a robust understanding of financial trends, and a strong strategic mindset.
This is a newly created position on a small team that will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the Corporate Controller.
Pay Range
$75,000 - $95,000 USD
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze business performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Assist with the budget/forecast process by collaborating with various department leaders, including Marketing, Operations, and Real Estate.
- Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to non‑financial partners.
- Compile and evaluate key performance indicators, working with departmental functions to improve results.
- Build ROI, sensitivity, and cohort‑based models to evaluate growth initiatives.
- Own and enhance financial reporting tools, dashboards, and data workflows to improve scalability and insight.
- Prepare materials for regular review by private equity partners.
- Work closely with accounting team to generate and review accurate financial statements.
- Partner with vendors to understand and continuously improve reporting capabilities.
- Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and policies to increase operational efficiency.
- Improve financial literacy across franchise network by adding visibility to results and educating stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
- MBA and/or CPA designation preferred.
- Working knowledge of financial statements.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data warehouse systems.
