Financial Analyst I - Innovative Engines and Energy Company Financial Reporting and Analysis Associate Work Environment

On site role. Exempt position. Standard business hours from 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday.

Overview

This opportunity is ideal for an early career finance professional who enjoys working with data, uncovering insights, and supporting decision making through clear and accurate financial analysis. The role sits within a collaborative finance team that supports ongoing reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis across a dynamic business environment. You will work closely with experienced leaders who value curiosity, accountability, and strong communication.

What

You Will Do
  • Collect, organize, and validate financial data from multiple sources
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for internal stakeholders
  • Build and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, charts, and visual summaries
  • Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, and potential risks
  • Support forecasting activities for revenues and expenses
  • Assist with the interpretation of financial information and communicate findings clearly
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in all reporting through strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to meet reporting deadlines
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Zero to two years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and other reporting or financial tools
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and basic economic concepts
  • Ability to think critically, manage time effectively, and work independently when needed
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and follow through
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional finance environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced coursework or graduate level education in a financial discipline
  • Exposure to financial forecasting, budgeting, or variance analysis
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and internal financial controls
