Our client is a leading multinational, publicly traded manufacturing company with a global presence who is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Manager to oversee the preparation of the global consolidated ASC-740 provision.

Global Provision Management:

• Lead the preparation and review of the global consolidated ASC-740 provision for a multinational, publicly traded manufacturing company.
• Ensure compliance with ASC-740 and other relevant tax regulations, including the coordination of tax accounting activities across various jurisdictions.
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the tax team.

Tax Compliance and Reporting:

• Oversee the timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including federal, state, and international filings.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure compliance with all tax regulations and requirements.

Tax Planning and Strategy:

• Partner with the senior management team to develop and execute tax strategies that optimize the company's tax position and minimize liabilities.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to proactively address potential impacts on the company's tax strategy.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and enhance tax processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting and compliance.
• Implement best practices and technology solutions to streamline tax-related activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, with a focus on ASC-740 provision and tax compliance for multinational corporations preferred.
• Exposure to international tax compliance for US owned foreign subsidiaries is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ASC-740 and other relevant tax regulations.
• Previous experience managing a team of tax professionals.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
