Guest Services Coordinator/Front Desk Receptionist at Blo Blow Dry Bar, Nashville (Hillsboro Village); part-time position (~10-20 hours).

Additional hours can be given at Franklin and Mt. Juliet locations. Weekend availability is required. Closing is required for weekends. We close at 6 P.M. on Friday and at 5 P.M. on Saturday. Shifts vary. Option for additional hours opportunities in the future.

• Understand the importance of maintaining a squeaky-clean work environment in a salon and performing opening and closing cleaning tasks
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a superior Guest experience
• You are professional, friendly, tactful, and know how to diffuse a tense situation and turn a good experience into a great one. You thrive on this!
• Comfortable working with scheduling/booking software
• Oversee the management of appointment calendar, optimizing schedule and maximizing bookings
• Enjoy discussing and selling hair packages/memberships and beauty products
• Support a team of hair stylists and beauty technicians

• The ability to work weekend hours (Fridays, Saturdays, etc.) and be flexible with your schedule (must be able to work peak hours as determined by the bar)
• A passion for the beauty and cosmetology industry and making people feel better
• Salon experience/Scheduling Software experience an asset
• An eye for cleanliness and ability to perform cleaning tasks
• Strong technical skills and experience using a Mac computer
