Patient & Family Centered Care Chaplains
Provides direct services and family-centered care for adult patients by using music as a tool to promote quality of life and help them attain and maintain their maximum levels of functioning in the areas of physical, cognitive, communication, and social/emotional health. Program planning will be designed to reduce stress, increase adaptive coping, provide normalization, and promote family/social interaction through evidence‑based music interventions in a safe environment.

40 hours per week | Monday‑Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities- Primary focus on patient care and clinical interventions.
- Uses music therapeutically to support adult patients and their families, incorporating professional expertise and knowledge related to human development and healthcare experiences.
- Designs and implements music therapy sessions based on patient/family strengths and needs, using music improvisation, receptive listening, songwriting, recording, lyric discussion, imagery, and performance.
- Coordinates, trains, and supervises volunteers and students in majors related to music therapy during field work/internship experiences.
- Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making.

- Prior experience in adult hospice and/or palliative care.
- Master's Degree.
- Music Therapist Board Certified – Certification Board for Music Therapists.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree (required).
