• Must be enrolled in a Surgical Technologist certification/degree program with only 6-8 months left to completion.

• Candidate graduates in 6 to 8 months.
• The Surgical Technologist Extern delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing basic patient care services to support the surgical suite.
• Under the supervision of the Circulating RN, the Extern assists the surgical staff in the perioperative process and maintains a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
• The Extern is currently enrolled and in good standing in an approved surgical technology school and can perform higher-level procedures once competency is achieved.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (Preferred)
• Currently enrolled in an approved Surgical Technologist program (Required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
