Base pay range
$35.00/hr - $42.00/hr
MRI Technologist – Day Shift (Multiple Locations)
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our growing imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality MRI examinations that assist physicians in accurate medical diagnosis, while maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for technologists who value patient care, consistency, and a weekday-only schedule.
Schedule- Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Average 12–14 patients per day (maximum of 16 scheduled)
- 30-minute scan slots
- Patient population varies by site
- No pediatric patients under age 15
- MRI systems are predominantly GE (23 GE, 7 Philips; Siemens being phased out)
- EHR/PACS: Fuji R / Synapse (varies by location)
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Mobile trailer location with a high likelihood of relocation
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Newly opened location
- Requires competency or training in Elastography and TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint) imaging
- Midtown
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Advanced clinical environment
- Requires Breast MRI experience (or willingness to train in a contract-to-hire model)
- Experience with 3T magnet preferred (prostate MRI performed; training available)
- Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols
- Produce diagnostic-quality images to support physician interpretation
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging process
- Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
- Accurately document exams within the electronic medical record
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and clinical staff
- Successful completion of a Radiologic Technology program from an accredited school (preferred)
- ARRT registration (MRI)
- State licensure as required
- BCLS/BLS certification
- 1 year of MRI experience (or equivalent clinical training)
- Experience with GE MRI systems
- Willingness to learn advanced imaging techniques as needed
