Cabin Housekeeper
Pay Range: $14.00/hr – $16.00/hr
Job SummaryThe Cabin Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and preparing cabin accommodations to ensure a comfortable, clean, and welcoming experience for guests. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across all cabin units.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Clean and prepare cabins between guest stays according to established standards
- Change linens, replace towels, and restock cabin amenities
- Clean kitchens and bathrooms, including appliances, countertops, sinks, tubs, and toilets
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all cabin living spaces and bedrooms
- Inspect cabins for cleanliness, damages, maintenance needs, and lost-and-found items; report findings promptly
- Remove trash and properly dispose of waste from cabins and outdoor areas
- Stock and organize housekeeping carts, linen supplies, and storage areas
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to guidelines
- Ensure cabins are properly secured after cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping and supply areas
- Provide courteous and professional interactions with guests when encountered
- Assist with laundry or other lodging-related tasks as needed
- Clean and maintain bathhouse facilities multiple times per day to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple cabins per shift
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ensures cabins meet cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards - Time Management:
Completes cabin turnovers efficiently to meet check-in deadlines - Problem Solving:
Identifies and reports maintenance issues or guest concerns promptly - Dependability:
Arrives on time, follows procedures, and completes assigned tasks - Teamwork:
Works collaboratively with fellow housekeepers, laundry, and lodging staff
Must be at least 16 years of age
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, use hands to operate cleaning equipment, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Work EnvironmentThis position works both indoors and outdoors and is regularly exposed to varying weather conditions while traveling between cabin units. The employee may also work in confined spaces and around cleaning chemicals.
