SHR Talent is partnering with a global manufacturing organization in its search for a Human Resources Manager to join their growing operations in Nashville, TN. As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a strategic business partner to both plant and corporate leadership, overseeing all aspects of Human Resources strategy, compliance, and employee relations. The Human Resources Manager will align Human Resources initiatives with business goals, support a diverse workforce, and drive organizational effectiveness across U.S. and global operations. The ideal candidate for the Human Resources position will have excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills and will be hands‑on, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.
Responsibilities- Lead Human Resources operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement
- Partner with leadership to ensure Human Resources strategies align with organizational objectives
- Oversee employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution with professionalism and confidentiality
- Manage compensation, benefits administration, and workforce planning
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies
- Coach and develop managers to strengthen leadership, communication, and retention practices
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across all levels of the organization
- Collaborate with global Human Resources teams to align systems, share best practices, and support international initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification, preferred
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and compliance
- Proven ability to support multi‑site or global teams
