Director, Provider Recruitment Job Summary

The Director, Provider Recruitment will be a key contributor to the continued expansion of Arch Well Health centers in new markets across the country. She/he will lead a team of provider recruiters to support aggressive annual hiring goals across all markets. The Director, Provider Recruitment will coach the provider recruitment team to meet hiring goals, identify, and manage vendor relationships, and build and execute a recruitment strategy to meet business objectives.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the provider recruitment team and process, including identifying opportunities for optimization of the Applicant Tracking Systems, Recruiting Management Systems
  • Hire, train, and lead a team of provider recruiters to support a high growth business
  • Ensure sourcing strategies for provider roles are aligned to the Company’s brand and strategic initiatives
  • Working knowledge of provider recruitment sourcing platforms
  • Assist with the development of a resident recruitment program
  • Manage implementation of competency‑based selection approach, training hiring leaders on behavioral interviewing and Arch Well Health selection process best practices
  • Oversee outsourced recruiting partner contracts, relationships and hiring timelines to deliver on individual market staffing plans
  • Implement KPI’s and metrics, using benchmarks for planning purposes, to set goals for the year, including time to fill, increasing candidate pipeline, number of passive/active candidates, number of interviews, number of hires, and retention measures.
  • Establish a data‑driven approach to quickly identify and solve pain points with the candidate pipeline
  • Participate in the design of Arch Well Health’s provider recruitment brand, marketing and social media strategy and execution
  • Develop and participate in recruiting events. To include annual meetings for Family Medicine and Internal Medicine along with market specific career fairs.
  • Facilitation of meetings with senior leaders to review open roles and status of active candidates to ensure candidates are moving efficiently through the recruit to hire process
  • Collection and maintenance of hiring forecast across senior clinical leadership team to track demand for key roles and ensure appropriate pipelining of candidates
  • Manages relationships with staffing partners (retained and contingent) to cultivate talent sourcing strategies, understanding partner performance and ROI to responsibly manage spend
  • Collaborates with provider recruiters and legal counsel during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Experience successfully leading a provider recruiting team in a high growth environment
  • Organized, systems thinker adept at understanding and documenting processes
  • Flexibility in juggling priorities of a rapidly growing business, with excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth business, preferably healthcare related
  • Proven ability to deliver on aggressive hiring timelines to meet the needs of the business
  • Experience building a provider recruitment brand and sourcing strategy for market‑based hiring, healthcare preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures and employment law
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • At least 7 to 10 years managing all phases of the provider recruitment and hiring process, with a minimum of 5 years managing a provider recruitment team
